The Ministry of Reconciliation.

“2 Corinthians 5: 17-21. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed

away; behold, all things are become new."

Comments by John Wesley on 2 Cor 5:17.
Therefore, if anyone be in Christ - A true believer in him.

There is a new creation - Only the power that makes a world can make a Christian.

And when he is so created, the old things are passed away - Of their own accord, even as snow in spring. Behold - The present, visible, undeniable change! All things have become new - He has new life, new senses, new faculties, new affections, new appetites, new ideas and conceptions. His whole tenor of action and conversation is new, and he lives, as it were, in a new world.

God, men, the whole creation, heaven, earth, and all therein, appear in a new light, and stand related to him in a new manner, since he was created anew in Christ Jesus.

 

God gave His Children the Ministry of Reconciliation

 “2 Corinthians 5:18-19 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.”

ERV Translation. verse:19 only.
“2 Corinthians 5:19 I mean that God was in Christ, making peace between the world and himself. In Christ, God did not hold people guilty for their sins. And he gave us this message of peace to tell people.”

To tell the World that through Jesus Christ's Death on the Cross, God is not holding the World guilty of sin - To tell them He loves them - To tell them He has provided a way for doom Mankind through His Son Jesus.

Back to the KJV. 2 Cor 5:20

“:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

The Work of The Holy Spirit.

“John 16:8-11 And when he is come, he will reprove (Convict) the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:” (- accusation, condemnation, damnation, judgment).

Notice: John is saying;  The Holy Spirit convicts the “World of  only one sin” - That is of not believing in Jesus - Not Christians.

John is NOT saying - The Holy Spirit will convict Christians - But unbelievers.

 

Refusing to believe in Jesus is the equivalent of saying,

I am rejecting the Death of Jesus on the cross.

Therefore there is no forgiveness of sin.

Sadly, they have rejected Salvation and Heaven.

The only destination that is left is hell. 

People say the Holy Spirit “Convicted me” - No He didn’t - You got convicted by your Human spirit and it’s according to the knowledge that you have learned so far. 

NOTE; People are convicted differently. 

Some about alcohol, others about smoking etc. (if the Holy Spirit really convicts Christians, then they would be convicted all the same).

 The correction that you get when you are about to do something wrong is your Born Again Human spirit, which is taught by the Holy Spirit, saying, ah ah, no, don’t do it.
This Scripture is used by Christians out of context to what John 16:8 is saying.

We are the Righteousness of God In Christ Jesus.
“2 Corinthians 5:17 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

John 16:9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
John 16:10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
John 16:11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

Only one sin left That will send you to hell

That is of not believing in Jesus.

Because by not believing in Jesus you have rejected God’s Salvation for you through the Precious Spilled Blood of His Son. “2 Corinthians 5:19.”    

You have rejected Jesus Death on the cross for you. You have rejected the only way of Salvation, the forgiveness of sin through the spilled blood of Jesus Christ.

 Behold the Lamb of God.

“John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”

SUMMARY.
The real you is the Born-Again Human spirit. Jesus did the work for you, on the Cross.

 The soul which is your mind, and your emotions, must be washed and renewed by the Word of God. “Rom 12:2...but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,...”

Now it is your responsibility to renew your mind by reading the Word of God.

Trust The Holy Spirit to come alongside to help you learn and understand.

The Body must die because of sin. We walk and touch a World of sin and corruption.

But You will get an Immortal, Incorruptible body at the Resurrection.

“1 Corinthians 15:50-54.

:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.”

 

Jesus' Death on the cross was for the Whole World. John 1:29.
The Holy Spirit convicts the World of only one sin, and that is of not believing or rejecting Jesus.

The Holy Spirit does not convict Christians of sin, Because they have accepted Jesus.

It is your Born Again Human spirit that convicts you. The real you is telling the body, no, no.

 

There is no Scripture to support the belief, that the Holy Spirit convicts Christians, as far as I know.

We are the Righteousness of God in Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:17. 

We are made right with God. Jesus paid the Price for our Salvation with His Precious Blood.

Accept Jesus now and you will be saved.

That is Your Choice between Heaven or Hell - Your Choice - You Choose - God gave you free will - He has provided a way for you to escape Judgement.

Your Free Choice is Heaven or Hell - Reject Jesus and you have rejected God’s ONLY provision of Salvation.

God is pleading with you, through us - Come on now, come to God through Jesus.

God said; why will you die.

I take no pleasure in the Soul that Dies.

“Ezekiel 18:32 For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD:..”

 

So go tell them My Children - Tell them I love them - Come on Home, now.

See what I have prepared for you. Come and I will receive you unto myself.

I have created you in My Image and for my Glory. The Spirit says come.
