UNFORGIVENESS VERSES FORGIVENESS

UNFORGIVENESS VERSES FORGIVENESS.

Joseph Vella. 14/03/26.

We are to forgive, just as our Heavenly Father forgave us.

When we forgive, then we are forgiven.

Matthew 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

Matthew 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

If we do not forgive, then our Heavenly Father cannot forgive us.

Matthew 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Here, Jesus is showing them that He is God. Because only God can forgive sins.

Matthew 9:6 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.

Peter here wanted a number on how many times we are to forgive.

Jesus said not 7 times 7 (49 times), but 70 times 7 (490 times in one day).
Meaning an unlimited number of times.

Matthew 18:21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?

Matthew 18:22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

The Father will also do likewise to you if...

Matthew 18:35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

Unforgiveness can cause sickness by opening the door to the devil.

Mark 2:10 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,)

Mark 2:11 I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.

If your Bother or sister repents, forgive him/her.

Luke 17:3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him

Know that when we ask forgiveness for our sins, we are restored to fellowship with the Father as the Righteous in Christ Jesus.

2 Corinthians 5:21  For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Unforgiveness can open the door to the devil.

There is also a demonic spirit of unforgiveness that will hinder people from forgiving others who have hurt them very badly. Before that person can forgive, they need to be released from that foul spirit.

Unforgiveness can open the door to sickness.

I witnessed about Jesus and Salvation to a man who was hurt very badly at work by false accusations.

He went to the doctors because of pain, and the doctors said he had a very bad back.

God said to me, only tell him about the work of the cross for today.

After a few days, he came looking for me and said, "I want to accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour".

I asked him if he could forgive those people at work who hurt him. He said no, I cannot. My thoughts were - he cannot forgive, yet he is asking God to forgive him.

But God in His Love and Mercy said to me, pray with him anyway to accept Jesus, because a demonic spirit is hindering him, and he cannot forgive YET. So I led him to say the sinner's prayer.

As soon as he accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour. I said can you forgive now? he replied Yes. (demon gone) I thought, thank You, Lord.

I said I would lead you into a prayer of forgiveness. He said the prayer after me with all his heart and seriousness.

During the prayer, I laid hands on his back, and God healed him instantly.

Back was healed, and he was glowing and totally changed.

I have prayed for many people who were sick because of unforgiveness.

Some men had "hemorrhoids". They healed after the prayer of forgiveness.

Some "Bad backs" Healed after the prayer of forgiveness.

Others' "ulcers in the mouth", "back and bone problems" like "short legs" Healed after the prayer of forgiveness.

Proverbs 14:30 A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy (Jealousy) the rottenness of the bones.

To have or keep unforgiveness can be dangerous. It will not only keep the person you are not forgiving in bondage, but also effect yourself in many different ways, like sicknesses, pain and torment, like feeling badly hurt, not being able to receive healing after prayer.

Then people conclude “that God did not want to heal yet”, not true, not Scriptural.

Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Jesus said in
   Luke 4:18
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Remember, at the judgement Seat of Christ, when a “Born Again” Christian has not forgiven, he or she will suffer loss of certain rewards, but he or she is still "saved".

WHY?? Because we are saved by "Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ”.
We are saved by the work of the cross and not by any works that we did.
We can never save ourselves by good works.

1 Corinthians 3:15-16 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Years ago, God told me to read and learn (Read Deuteronomy Blessings and Curses, Chapters 28, 29, 30).

This helped me to stand against "the curse of the Law" and also "Claim the blessings" for all the sick. Also read (Galatians 3:13-14).

We need to know who we are in Christ Jesus and what Authority we have been given to fight against the devil and all his cohorts.

LOOK AT THE FOLLOWING:

God says it and I believe it!! And I expect things to happen.

JESUS SAID IN

Mark 16:17-18 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

:18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil, that is, everything that is not from God.

1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

 Many Blessings.

Jesus loves you all.
We are all His Precious Creation, and He gave up His Life for us to be Saved. John 3:16.
