You are a spirit, you have a soul, and you live in a body.

New creature in Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

We have a brand new recreated spirit man; the old spirit man is passed away.

“Ephesians 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.”  NIV “Ephesians 4:24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.”

Our human spirits are created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

“Colossians 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:”

We have got a new spirit man which is renewed or restore in knowledge (recognition, full discernment, acknowledgment) after the Image or resemblance of Him that created, fabricate or make him. We now have knowledge of God within us.

So because our spirit man is Born again

“1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible (decayed, perishable) seed, but of incorruptible, (Immortal) by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.”

“1 Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:”

At the new birth, we become immortal, How?? By Jesus - Through Word of God.

As someone hears the Word of God being preached Faith comes to believe.

We have a recreated spirit; Recreate means to do it again.

We have true righteousness and holiness. We are holy and Righteous.

We are renewed or restore in the knowledge of God. We can now communicate with God. We became immortal at the new birth. We will live forever.

We are the Sons of God.

“Galatians 4:5-7 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. :6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. :7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.”

Christ having paid the ransom price, with His blood redeemed (redeem = to buy up, ransom) us from the Law of sin and death. He made us sons by His Spirit in our hearts, crying Abba, Father. Now we are no more servants but sons.

We are accepted in the beloved.

“Ephesians 1:5-6 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, :6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.”

We are children of God.

“Romans 8:14-16 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. :15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. :16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:”

We are Justified in Christ.

“Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.”

“Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:”

We have been given the ministry of reconciliation.

“2 Corinthians 5:18-21 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; :19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

We are made the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

“Romans 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:”

“Romans 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)”

“Romans 10:3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.”

“Romans 4:6-8 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, :7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. :8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.”

“Ephesians 4:23-24 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, :24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.”

We are Blessed with every spiritual blessing.
“Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:”

We are Redeemed from the curse of the law, because Jesus became a curse for us.

“Galatians 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:”

The Curse of the Law is found in Deuteronomy 28:15. Read Chapters 28, 29. 30.

We are Delivered from the power of darkness.
“Colossians 1:13-14 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: :14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:”

We are set free from the power of sin.

“Romans 6:6-9 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.

:7 For he who has died has been freed from sin.

:8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,

:9 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him.”

“Romans 6:22 But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life.”

“Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.”

“Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.”

We are Complete in Christ.

“Colossians 2:10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.”

We are Free from condemnation through Christ.

“Romans 8:1-2 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.”

We are Priests unto God.

“1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;”

“Revelations 1:6 and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”

“Revelations 5:10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth."

We are God’s temple.

“1 Corinthians 3:16-18 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? :17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.”

Your spirit is the temple of God, which is holy. The real you is the Human spirit.

“2 Corinthians 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.”

Where does the Spirit of God dwells? In your spirit.
“1 Corinthians 6:19 What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?”

Your body is the temple of God, because your spirit is.

Read Romans 7:18 - 24 .. that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing:.

We are holy.

“Hebrews 3:1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;”

“1 Peter 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.”

“Colossians 1:22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:”

“1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:”

Sanctified in Christ.
“Hebrews 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.”

“1 Corinthians 1:2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:”

“1 Corinthians 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.”

We are ambassadors for Christ.

“2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.”

 Christ is in us.

“Colossians 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:”

“John 14:20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.”

“2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?” (Reprobates means worthless, rejected, castaway.)

More than a Conqueror in Christ.
“Romans 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”

“2 Corinthian 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.”

God’s workmanship in Christ.
“Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”

We are complete in him.

“Colossians 2:9-10 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. :10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:”

We are Loved and accepted in Christ.
“Ephesians 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.”

“Romans 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

“Ephesians 2:16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:”

We are Joint Heirs with Christ.
“Romans 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.”

“Galatians 4:7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.”

“Ephesians 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:”

We are Seated in Heavenly places in Christ.
“Ephesians 2:5, 6. Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) :6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:”

“Ephesians 1:20, 21. Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, :21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:”

“Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:”
