THE BELIEVER'S NEED FOR THE BAPTISM WITH THE HOLY GHOST.

God has always used the Holy Spirit to Empower Believers on Earth.

Under the Old Covenant The Holy Ghost would come upon Prophets, Kings and Priests, and not on lay people as a rule. 

The Holy Ghost would come “upon them” (But not “indwell them”) for a period of time to get the work done that the Lord God wanted, then The Holy Ghost would leave. 

WHY DID HE LEAVE?? Because; John 7:39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)  

God would empowered these People to do the work that He wanted done. 

Remember their sins were only covered over and not taken away because their Messiah Jesus had not yet died. This included all the Old Covenant Saints, the Apostles, and Disciples. From Adam to the Death of Jesus, the believers Human spirits was not Born Again. 

Their Human spirits were dead in sin. (separated from God). They did not have the New Birth. 

The Holy Ghost cannot indwell them - Cannot live in them. The New Covenant really started after the Death and Resurrection of Jesus. 

Before Jesus started His Ministry He was Baptized By John and Empowered by the Holy Ghost.       

Luke 3:21-22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him... 

Now if Jesus needed the Holy Ghost with Power from on High - Don’t you think we do??  

Jesus gave the Apostles Power and sent them out two by two. 

Mark 6:7 And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits; 

Jesus empowered them before they started to do the work of the ministry, for a specific work and time, then, The Holy Spirit would leave. 

Jesus sends them out again, but first He breathed the Holy Ghost on them. 

John 20:21-22 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. :22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: 

Jesus empowered them again, before they started to do the work of the ministry. That empowerment was till a certain work was done - Then The Holy Spirit would leave. 

FALL OF THE HOLY GHOST. Acts 1:4-5 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. :5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. 

Jesus Commanded the Disciples to wait in Jerusalem till the day of Pentecost, then The Holy Ghost would fall and they be would be empowered from above. 

Luke 24:49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. 

When Jesus was seated at the right hand of the Father; Then He sent The Holy Ghost at the day of Pentecost, who was to abide with believers forever.
 

John the Baptist said, about Jesus. 

Luke 3:16 he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:...

The Holy Ghost Baptizes us into the Body of Christ at the New Birth. 

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 

BUT, It is Jesus that Baptizes us with The Holy Ghost after the New Birth. 

Acts 1:5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.  

If God Empowers People in the Old Covenant with the Holy Ghost to Minister.                                         

If Jesus had to have the Power of the Holy Ghost to start His Ministry. 

If the Apostles had to be Empowered by the Holy Ghost before going out to Minister. 

If Jesus Commanded His Disciples to wait in Jerusalem for the Holy Ghost to Empower them, at the Day of Pentecost before starting their to ministry. Then we need to obey the Lord too. 

We need The Baptism with The Holy Ghost with the evidence of Speaking in other Tongues. 

1. We war against all the demonic hordes that will come against us. 
2. To try to stop us from preaching Jesus. 
3. To try to discredit our Ministry. 
4. To try to scatter the sheep.  
5. To keep us From setting the Captive free.  
6. From healing the sick.  
7. From casting out devils.  
8. From protecting our loved ones and others.  
9. From coming against wickedness in high places. 

YOU CAN GET KILLED OUT THERE - WE NEED THE BAPTISM OF HOLY GHOST. 

SO, HOW COME SOME DISOBEY??                                                                                                  

IS IT JUST LACK OF KNOWLEDGE??                                                                                            

OR JUST DISOBEDIENCE?? 

 

I think it is wrong teaching, lack of knowledge and not understanding the Scriptures. 

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.... 

God will only give good things to His Children. 

Luke 11:11-13. :11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? :12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? :13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? 

You go to war you better be equipped? You better have some bullets in your gun?

The World can Receive Jesus upon Repentance - It is call “Born Again” or Born of God.                

So only an unbeliever can come to Jesus to be Saved, It is a FREE gift of Grace. John 3:3. 1John 4:7. 

But The Holy Ghost is ONLY for God’s Children. The World cannot receive the Holy Ghost - The World can receive Only Jesus. 

John 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 

So, Unbelievers can come to Jesus to receive The New Birth. When one is Born Again - They are called Born again believers. 

Then they should go on to receive The Mighty Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other Tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance. It is an Endowment with Power. 

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:... 

All Born Again believers should go on to receive the Baptism of Holy Ghost - It is a FREE Gift from God. Jesus commanded it. 

As Children of God it is your right to be empowered with the Holy Spirit. 

When you receive The Holy Spirit you will Speak in Other Tongues. “NO EXCEPTIONS”. It is your Prayer Language - It will build you up. Speaking in Tongues Comes with the Holy Ghost.
 

It is not speaking in Tongues - It is receiving The Holy Spirit with the Evidence of speaking in other Tongues as the Spirit gives The Utterance. 

Some People get hung up about speaking in Tongues, well they shouldn’t.
It is a Free Gift from God - God only gives good gifts to His Children.
 

Others use the following Verse of Scripture to prove not everyone speaks in other Tongues. 

1 Corinthians 12:30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? 

The obvious answer for the above Scripture is “no”. 

Please understand that in The Chapter of 1 Corinthians 12: is talking about Spiritual Gifts.
1 Corinthians 12: is talking about Spiritual Gifts - Paul is saying; do all speak with The gift of tongues for the purpose of Interpretation - Have all got the gifts of healing. The obvious answer is NO. 

We need to ask. What is 1 Corinthians 12 talking about?? 

1 Corinthians 12:1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant: (Ignorant, not know, not understand). 

Not everyone has the same Gifts of the Holy Spirit. It is as the Holy Spirit wills. 

1 Corinthians 12:11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 

The Gift of Tongues and The Gift of Interpretation of Tongues is GIVEN for this Church Age ONLY. 

When the Messiah Jesus was killed on the Cross, that is when Jewish time stopped - God stopped dealing with the Jews. And He started dealing with the Gentiles. We can now enter The Holy of Holies Washed by the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ.

It is now "the time of the Gentiles”. God is now dealing with the Gentiles. With the Catching Away (Rapture) of the Church, Jewish Time will start again, and Tongues and Interpretation of Tongues will not operate any more. 

God added them only for the “time of the Gentiles” or this Church Age only. 

 

Under the Old Covenant only “Seven Gifts” of the Spirit operated. 

In the New Covenant “Nine Gifts” of the Spirit is in operating. 

God added Two more gifts for this Church age - They are; Speaking in Tongues and Interpretation of Tongues. 

Isaiah 44:3 For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, And floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, And My blessing on your offspring; 

I pray that you have fully understood, and Accepted my message about receiving The Precious Holy Ghost, and Obeying The Command that Jesus Gave to All Born-Again Believers. 

That Command Is Act 1:4 … commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father,... 

That is a COMMAND from Jesus and We need to OBEY. 

The Holy Ghost is for ALL Believers. 

We need the Power of the Holy Ghost, so we can Obey Jesus as we walk on this Earth. 

IF Jesus needed the Holy Ghost before He started His Ministry - THEN so do we.
